First, read the tour title for the word "ticket." The small group tour states it includes Pena Palace entry. The other two name Pena or Sintra without saying so, and you should ask the operator before assuming.
Second, match the station to the town. Cascais runs from Cais do Sodré and Sintra runs from Rossio, and mixing them up sends you to the wrong side of the Baixa.
Third, check the Parques de Sintra site for opening days and slot availability for your date before you commit to a train or a tour.
Fourth, pack for bursts of rain in winter.
